Who operates this service
Bill Charles operates DeepSeek Failover Bridge for one personally authorized account. Contact: billcharles310012@gmail.com.
Google data and purpose
With the account owner's consent, the service uses three Google permissions: Gmail read-only, Drive metadata read-only, and events on calendars the owner owns. During a failover it examines up to 100 recent Gmail messages from the previous two days and up to 100 recently modified Drive files. It requests Gmail message metadata rather than full bodies and uses the message identifier, subject, date, and snippet. For Drive it uses file identifiers, names, types, modification times, links, and descriptions. It reads existing calendar events to prevent duplicates and may create a private event with its source reference and evidence note in the owner's primary calendar.
Processing and sharing
Selected Gmail fields and Drive metadata, alongside relevant Notion information, are sent from Cloudflare Workers to the DeepSeek API to identify scheduling candidates. The service stores coordination state, results, and review flags in Cloudflare Durable Objects and KV; it writes audit and review records to the owner's Notion workspace. It does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. The account owner is the only intended user.
Retention and control
Coordination records and Notion audit records remain until the owner deletes them; there is currently no automatic deletion period. The owner can revoke Google access in Google Account settings, which stops future Google API calls. The owner can request deletion of service records by contacting the operator above. Access tokens are short-lived; the offline refresh token is stored as a Cloudflare Worker Secret.
Security and changes
The private service requires signed requests and restricts access to its coordination interface. This public page does not expose account data. This policy may change when the service's data practices change; the current version is published here.
